About me

Welcome to my blog!

I am an MSc Sustainability graduate based in England. Whilst studying for my undergraduate degree in Biology, I started to become more aware of the environmental issues we are facing and the various ways in which humans are harming the planet. There have been occasions where I have been in tears over the actions or attitudes of others (but then I am a pretty passionate person!). Wanting to do something about it, I enrolled on a Master’s course in Sustainability which I have recently completed. In 2020, I also established a youth group with Wiltshire Climate Alliance in which we are working with the council to bring about climate action.

Beyond the basics of recycling and switching off lights, a few years ago I began researching further ways to make changes in my day-to-day life. This blog gives me a chance to share what I have learned. I am particularly interested in sustainable periods and education, which I researched for my dissertation. Besides reviewing sustainable swaps, I hope to use my scientific background to bring awareness of current issues and inspire others to take action.
